Since 2004,  HemaStem's™  umbilical cord blood stem cell preservation technology has provided families the opportunity to collect, isolate and preserve your newborn's cord blood stem cells for therapeutic use in the years to come.

We are a PharmaStem patent license holder, a FDA registered lifesciences company FDA FEI # 3005591238 and a Health Canada registered cord blood bank registration number 100046.  Our partner labs in Toronto Canada and in New Jersey USA are both AABB accredited. 

Researchers have discovered and successfully transplanted placental umbilical cord blood stem cells in the treatment of a number of blood diseases and cancers, including leukemias, anemias and immunodefiency diseases and cord blood can be utilized in adults (source from American Cancer Society).  Currently, researchers around the world are exploring the possible uses of cord blood stem cells for the treatment of other disorders such heart disease, Parkinson’s disease, diabetes, Alzheimer’s and multiple sclerosis; however, it is uncertain whether cord blood stem cells may be beneficial for these indications - only time will tell.
